Tēnā koutou katoa, nau mai ki te JNP Aviation Training’s waka rererangi  - our training aircraft!

We are thrilled to have acquired this aircraft from Air New Zealand and the team have been busy alongside a number of amazing collaborators to transform the aircraft into a practical learning tool. This training aircraft offers hands-on experience for aviation professionals and learners. It is already in high demand for various training purposes, including emergency services, aviation ground operations for de-icing, ground operations training, and health, safety, and security practices.

The aircraft symbolizes the whanaungatanga between JNP Aviation and Mana Whenua, particularly those from Whareroa Marae.

The waka rererangi is currently sitting out behind Classic Flyers and is being used by our Instructor and learners for simulated ground ops training. The final destination is out on the Tauranga Airport apron. We have had many collaborators in this project.
